Louise Greenwood, Felix Studios
Inspired by the colours, textures and quiet rhythms of the Suffolk coastline and countryside, Louise Greenwood creates work that celebrates the character and beauty of the landscape around her.
Working across ceramics, painting and jewellery, she explores familiar forms and natural details through small, thoughtfully considered series. Her ceramic work is predominantly made in glazed earthenware, alongside small batches of stoneware, allowing her to experiment with both form and surface.
Her signature “Seascapes with Lustre Gulls” range brings together the changing moods, light and colours of the coast. These pieces reflect her fascination with the shoreline — its ever changing colours, weathered textures and the simple treasures found along the water’s edge.
Her contemporary work is decorative, yet quietly contemplative, combining a love of handmade objects with an enduring connection to the landscapes that surround her
