Jevan Watkins Jones

Jevan Watkins Jones' work is characterised by a sensitive attention to different states of nature and playful interactions with the biophysical environment. Based in Suffolk, he works across drawing, painting, sculpture, collage and installation, frequently in dialogue with the East Anglian landscape and its flora and fauna. He has exhibited widely across Suffolk, Essex and Norfolk, including solo and two-person projects with Simon Carter - Shore Lines (Firstsite, Colchester, 2021), Confluence (Cuckoo Farm Studios, Colchester, 2023) and Confluence II (Aldeburgh Poetry Festival, 2025) - and solo shows at The Watch House, Orford Quay (Groundness, 2023; Hello Little Mud, 2024; NESSness, 2025). Group exhibitions include Refired (Messums East, Lowestoft, 2026), In Proximity (Castle Museum, Norwich, 2026), LAND and LAND TOO (The Art Station), Into the Woods (Art Exchange, University of Essex, 2025) and the Anna Airy Prize Winners Exhibition (Ipswich Art Gallery, 2018).
