Bridget McKenzie

Bridget McKenzie is a creative researcher, trainer and artist, whose work is devoted to engaging people with the Earth Crisis. Her background is in art history, museum and gallery education. In 2019, she co-founded the movement Culture Declares Emergency and founded Climate Museum UK, a creative collective of artists, designers and educators. More recently, she founded Earth Talk, a community of practice for Earth literacy. She lives in Norwich where she is involved in imaginative activism.

She has increasingly made visual art her main practice, having done a postgraduate art course at the Art Depot in Norwich, and continuing to be a collective member. She draws and paints in inks, watercolours and coloured pencils, makes collages and photographs, and writes poetry and creative non-fiction, including visual and film poems.
