Artist Statement

I am an artist and photographer based on the east coast of England. My practice is rooted in place, exploring the relationships between people, landscape and ecology through photography, collaborative projects and making.

Alongside photography, I have a particular interest in the physicality of the photographic image. This is explored through a printmaking practice centred on polymer photogravure, often using handmade inks from locally foraged natural materials, and extending to alternative photographic processes including salt printing and cyanotype.
