Rachel Collier-Wilson

Rachel Collier-Wilson is a fine artist, printmaker and curator based in Norwich. They gained a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Printmaking from Central Saint Martins School of Art, London, and have since studied for an MA in Fine Art at Norwich University of the Arts, showing in the Interim MA Fine Art progression exhibition at St Mary's Works, Norwich, and in the university's Postgraduate Showcase. They grew up in the Peak District and have lived in London, Boston and Auckland, New Zealand, before settling in Norwich. They work across sketching, lino, monoprinting, sewing and painting, and are an avid life drawer.

They are the founder and co-director of Queerfest CIC, a queer arts festival held annually in Norwich each February, timed to coincide with LGBTQ+ History Month.

They were awarded second prize at the Wisbech Gallery DRAW 25 exhibition, and their solo exhibition Suggested Narrative was shown at Anteros Front Room, Norwich. They have also shown in WIGHTON26: undercurrent, east 26 at The Bank Arts Centre in Eye, Suffolk, Being Woman at Mandell's Gallery, Norwich, Passing Pride at the Assembly House, Norwich, and Surface Tension for Queerfest Norwich.

Their work is held in the collection of the Wallace Arts Trust, Auckland, New Zealand. It can be seen year-round at Gallery 10 at Alby Crafts & Gardens, the Anteros Arts Foundation shop and Jarrold Storefolk, and they are a regular exhibitor at No.36 Art Workshop, Gorleston. They have been written about in Concrete and KL Magazine.
