Screen prints, neons and reflective signage, all designed and produced by Paul Wolterink.

A key collection, The Sea Is Always Right, consists of three neon signs from an open series that brings to light the devastating storm surge of 30 January 1607 on the north Norfolk coast. Each simplified graphic icon is a fragment of a woodcut from that year, found in a Renaissance book in the Norfolk Heritage Centre. The neon sign, the classic tool of commercial branding, is used here to invite reflection on the Norfolk coast's past, present and future.
