Vrinda Read

Vrinda Read is an artist living in Suffolk whose work is based on impressions from the places she visits.

She graduated with a first class BA (Hons) in Fine Art and English from Christchurch College, Canterbury, where she received the graduate painting prize, and she is also a trained teacher of art.

Born in Wales, she has lived in China and France, and has travelled through much of Europe, South East Asia and India. Through her work she looks for a visual language that shows the essential elements of her subject, exploring shape and colour to catch the essence of a scene.
