Tricia Moss
Tricia Moss is a contemporary abstract artist living on the North Norfolk coast, having moved there from London. She works in acrylic and mixed media, and makes her own printed collage papers using lino-cut, collagraphy and gel press, which she integrates into the paintings.

Artist Statement
I am particularly interested in rugged coastlines, as well as old boatyards, harbours and have always been strongly drawn to and influenced by the sea.
Experimentation provides an exciting and spontaneous visual language. I make my own printed collage papers using lino-cut, collagraphy and Gell press. These are often integrated into my acrylic based paintings, along with other media.
My paintings are more about emotive expression than of specific representation. They are about feelings evoked by the identifiable. An abstract, multi-sensory response to elements of a coastal environment.
I invite the viewer to experience their own interpretation and connection with my paintings, through the use of harmonious, subtle, colour shifts, contrasting, multi-layered mark making with a sense of depth to provide continual intrigue and wonder.
