By Way of the Sea

Four local artists celebrate our region's connection with the sea. By Way of the Sea brings together Mary Blue, Jane Hodgson, Chris Kirby and Tricia Moss at St Nicholas' Church in Salthouse.

An outreach programme runs alongside the exhibition, taking in art workshops with the local high school, gansy knitters from Wells and Cromer, talks from Rescue Wooden Boats, the North Norfolk charity whose vessel Lucy Lavers went to Dunkirk, and the Wild Rover Shanty Men. Harbour Master Robert Smith MBE opens the private view with tales of the harbour and the saltmarsh that Mary Blue's paintings inhabit.
