Artist Statement
I've just finished an MA in Fine Art at Norwich, where I cut, bent and painted steel, enjoying the blur between the flat surface and 3D space. I began making work about Constructivist architecture, but my presence at the birth of my first grandchild forced a new direction.
Images shown here are from my final project, 'An Architecture of Birth'. Now I am exploring how to make work from my small garden shed, without the enticing array of university tools to help me. And this feels exciting.
