P. Jane Hunter

P. Jane Hunter is a printmaker based in West Mersea, Essex. She studied textiles design at Central Saint Martin's School of Art in London, worked as a designer in the fashion and textile trade and then followed a career in education, before returning to drawing, printmaking and painting.

Her work focuses on the natural landscape in and around the rivers Colne and Blackwater and Mersea Island, together with objects from around the home. She uses reduction lino cut, monoprint, collagraph and etching to produce handmade limited edition prints.

She is a member of Island Artists, Gainsborough House, Colchester Art Society, Suffolk Craft Society, Print East and 12PM Printmakers, and runs workshops in relief printing techniques.
