Carla Elizabeth

Carla Elizabeth is a painter based in Martlesham, Suffolk, working in pastel, oil and mixed media.

She won art scholarships at school and went on to study art history and studio art at Anglia Ruskin University, covering drawing, painting, sculpture and printmaking, then spent more than twenty years as a graphic designer before returning to her own work. A box of pastel pencils led to pet portrait commissions, and from there to the seascapes and birds that make up most of her work now.

She paints from a studio in her garden, runs beginner-friendly art workshops, and exhibits regularly across Suffolk.
