The Undercroft

The Undercroft is a large exhibition and project space beneath the War Memorial Gardens in the centre of Norwich, opposite City Hall. It opened in 2013 and is run by Norwich City Council.

The space is underground, raw and concrete, and has carried an unusually wide range of work: visual art, performance, sound installation, dance and immersive exhibitions. Norwich 20 Group has held its annual exhibition there, and it serves as a venue for Norfolk & Norwich Festival.

It is available for hire, for a minimum of three weeks, through the council's culture and events team.
