Ryan Gander: Prosaic Times — Finissage

A finissage to close Ryan Gander's Prosaic Times, marking the end of the show and the fifth birthday of 303 Projects. Throughout the exhibition visitors have been invited to contribute their own obscure, illogical and unanswerable questions, written on post-it notes and dropped into the gallery post-box. At the finissage the artist reads out all the contributions for further scrutiny and fun, over drinks.

In case you're not clear on the choice of the word "finissage" to describe this event, "vernissage" is the French word for "varnishing" and is a customary art world term for a private view or reception launching a new exhibition. Thus, Gander's event name is a fun word play on that term.
