303 Projects
One of the most important outposts of contemporary art in the East of England, 303 Projects mints groundbreaking new artists in its tiny but influential space in Lowestoft. Worth the trek!
303 Projects is a contemporary art gallery and project space run as a Community Interest Company by artist Alexander Costello. It champions contemporary art on the Suffolk coast with a diverse, inclusive programme of exhibitions, screenings and talks by emerging and established artists — including Turner Prize winners and artists who have shown at Tate Modern and the V&A. Alongside its free public exhibitions, 303 Projects runs artist talks, drop-in sessions with the director, and collaborative pop-up shows with local schools and community groups, aiming to engage and enrich the community and bring ambitious contemporary work to the region.
