303 Projects
One of the most important outposts of contemporary art in the East of England, 303 Projects mints groundbreaking new artists in its tiny but influential space in Lowestoft. Worth the trek!
303 Projects is a contemporary gallery and project space on the Suffolk coast, run as a Community Interest Company by the artist Alexander Costello. Its inclusive, wide-ranging programme of exhibitions, screenings and talks brings together emerging names and established figures alike - among them Turner Prize winners and artists who have exhibited at Tate Modern and the V&A. Entry to its shows is free, and the space also hosts artist talks, informal drop-in sessions with the director and pop-up projects made with local schools and community groups, all with the aim of enriching its community and bringing ambitious contemporary work to the region.
