Kate Giles: Remember Tomorrow

25 Apr 2026 – 11 Oct 2026

Recommended

Suffolk-born, Norfolk-based artist Kate Giles (b. 1962) creates expressive work rooted in her native landscape and the legacy of John Constable. The exhibition showcases new paintings and drawings, several responding directly to Constable's six-foot canvas The Leaping Horse, which is on display nearby as part of the main season. Giles draws on the painting's dual energy, which Constable himself described as 'lively and soothing, calm and exhilarating, fresh and blowing', with the work spread across multiple spaces within the Historic House.
