EARTH NOW

A group exhibition at North House Gallery, part of PACE Manningtree's Earth Festival 2026, in which six artists observe humanity's impact on the Earth, the Earth's revenge, and the case for action and hope. Lillias August paints birds' nests laced with man-made material; Barbara Beyer makes precariously balanced ceramic houses and 'Skywards' sculptures; Neil Bousfield engraves the North Sea eroding the Norfolk coast; Fran Crowe works with collected plastic and satellite images of degraded landscapes; Melvyn King paints abandoned quarries and their slow regeneration; and Alan Turnbull makes woodcuts of blackbirds, blossom and an ancient oak on themes of growth and permanence.
