Thorunn Björnsdottir Bacon

Thorunn Björn Bacon is an Icelandic-born fine-art photographer and writer based in Colchester, Essex. She holds the LRPS (Licentiate of the Royal Photographic Society), an MA in Creative Writing and Literature from the University of Essex, and a BSc (Hons) in Osteopathic Medicine from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine. She works in digital print and alternative printing processes such as intaglio and cyanotype, drawing on her Icelandic heritage and its connection to landscape, myth and folklore. She is a member of the Royal Photographic Society and of Colchester Art Society.
