Judith Glover

Judith Glover is an artist and illustrator based in Sudbury, Suffolk. She studied at Dartington College of Arts and then at Hornsey College of Art in north London, graduating with a degree in graphic design. She began her career with a London design company working in publishing, with illustration - much of it inspired by nature - as her main focus, and her designs have since been licensed internationally across stationery, fabric and ceramics. A keen gardener, she completed a planting design course at Capel Manor College and won a Silver medal and the BBC People's Award for her garden at the 2003 Chelsea Flower Show. She moved to Suffolk in 2013, where she now works in soft pastel, watercolour and oils, practises life drawing and portraiture, and makes hand-built porcelain ceramics. She opens her studio each June with Suffolk Open Studios and exhibits annually with Heart of Suffolk and Artworks East. Her work has been selected for the Pastel Society and the Watercolour Society in London, and in 2026 she was one of eight contemporary artists invited to create work inspired by the legacy of Benton End, the former home of Cedric Morris and Arthur Lett Haines.
