Artist Statement
I make art that I hope sparks a connection with the viewer. You are reminded of a place, or a moment, a feeling.
I love to paint things that bring me joy - sometimes expressionist still life, sometimes semi-abstract land or seascapes, inspired by the beautiful coastline where I live. At other times, my work is purely abstract and non-figurative. My paintings aim to echo how I experience the world. They are always driven by a love of colour.
