Wingfield Barns
Wingfield Barns is a 16th-century barn complex in the village of Wingfield in north Suffolk, reopened in 2009 as a Community Interest Company and run as an arts venue and community hub. It shows a continuous programme of exhibitions alongside theatre, live music, cinema screenings, workshops and community events.
There are two contemporary, light-filled galleries with hard maple floors and professional track lighting, Gallery 1 and Gallery 2, which can be hung separately or combined, plus the Great Barn for larger exhibitions and events. The exhibition programme runs to solo and group shows by artists working in East Anglia, and Wingfield Barns is one of the few UK venues to host the Mini Print International, the annual survey of original prints selected in Barcelona by ADOGI, which it first brought to Britain in 1992.
