Wells Maltings - Handa Gallery

Wells Maltings is an arts, heritage and community centre in Wells-next-the-Sea, opened in July 2018 after a large-scale refurbishment of the Grade II-listed Maltings building.

The venue holds the Handa Gallery, a theatre and cinema, a heritage centre, a visitor information centre, a cafe bar and community spaces for hire. Its programme runs from film and live music to drama, dance, poetry and talks.

In 2022 the Maltings formed the NR23 Group, a collective of artists and makers living and working in the Wells area, which now shows annually in the gallery.
