Thompson's Gallery
Thompson's Gallery has shown art on Aldeburgh High Street for over forty years. Founded in 1982 by John and Susan Thompson on a reputation for antiques and Victorian watercolours, it turned towards contemporary art in the 1990s, championing figurative oil painters from Scotland, and now deals in Modern British work alongside living artists.
The gallery is directed by Megan Thompson and runs a changing exhibition programme, with a stock of paintings, sculpture and original prints. It offers art consultancy and sculpture consultations, and takes part in the Own Art scheme. There is a second gallery in London.
