The Gibberd Gallery

Recommended

The Gibberd Gallery is a contemporary exhibition space on the mezzanine floor of Harlow Civic Centre, run by the Harlow Art Trust, a charity formed in 1953. Entry is free.

It is the indoor exhibition space of Harlow Sculpture Town, and holds the Sir Frederick Gibberd Watercolour Collection alongside a programme of sculpture-focused exhibitions.

Harlow itself holds a collection of more than 101 public artworks, including work by Henry Moore, Barbara Hepworth and Elizabeth Frink. The majority stand outdoors and can be seen all year, on self-led walking and cycling trails through the town.
