The Gallery

The Gallery is an intimate independent space in the heart of Maldon, in a characterful Grade II listed building with exposed beams and herringbone floors. It shows contemporary paintings, sculpture and ceramics by a select group of artists, roughly three dozen in all.

The artist and owner Joanna Milne opened it in September 2024. Work is chosen by the gallery, which invites submissions from artists by email rather than taking bookings for the space.
