Oasis: Photographs by Jill Furmanovsky

21 Nov 2026 - 19 Dec 2026

The Gallery presents Oasis, an exhibition of photographs by Jill Furmanovsky, who has spent over five decades photographing the world's greatest rock and pop musicians.

Furmanovsky began photographing Oasis during their rise in the 1990s, documenting the band on and off stage as they went from Manchester's emerging rock scene to becoming one of the biggest bands in the world. The photographs capture the energy, attitude and intimacy of Oasis at the height of Britpop, from live performances to candid moments behind the scenes.

She was honoured with three awards in 2024: a Lifetime Achievement Award from Amateur Photographer magazine, Legend of the Year from So.Co for her contribution to music photography, and the Abbey Road ICON Award, presented to her by Noel Gallagher.

The exhibition follows the publication of Oasis: Trying To Find A Way Out Of Nowhere, her book with Noel Gallagher, which sets her photographs alongside his own reflections and memories. Copies are available at The Gallery throughout the exhibition, and a curated selection of her limited edition prints is also for sale.
