Openspace

Openspace is an arts venue on Cherry Hinton Road in Cambridge, tucked away behind Eddie's Barber Shop. It hosts exhibitions of fine art and craft, music, talks and workshops, and opens only for scheduled events.

The space was designed by its owner, Ronald Pile, who took over Primavera in King's Street, Cambridge, from its founder Henry Rothschild in 1980 and ran it until 2000.

Its programme has included Modern British art from East Anglia, Cambridge Open Studios group shows, and exhibitions of the work of Syd Barrett and of the Cambridge painter Julia Ball.
