The Spirit of Boudica

A collaborative, multidisciplinary group show built around artist Rebekah Wallace's sensory "archaeological journey," retracing on foot the route Boudica's army marched from Norwich to Colchester in 60/61 AD. Work by sixteen artists spans ceramics, sculpture, painting, textiles, photography, printmaking and interactive art, shown alongside "Boudica Rising" oracle card decks. The gallery is staged as a multi-sensory environment, layering in composed drum sounds and a bespoke scent created with a natural perfumer. Participating artists include Wyn Haythornthwaite, Nico Harbridge, Caryn Noad, Dennis Coote, Karen Cater, Christopher Northall, Ilona Johnson, Peter Day, Katharine Moore, Antonia Layzell and Rebekah Wallace, among others.
