Preview Evening: 30th Swaffham Art Exhibition

23 Oct 2026

The Rotary Club of Swaffham's art exhibition reaches its thirtieth year in 2026 and is one of the fixtures of the town's autumn calendar. It is an open exhibition, with entry by open call: any artist may submit, up to five works each, and the show is hung at the Assembly Rooms on the Market Place.

It is a community fundraiser as much as a show. Work is sold in aid of the causes the club supports. Beneficiaries have included the East Anglian Air Ambulance, East Anglia's Children's Hospices and its Nook Appeal, the Alzheimer's Society, the King's Lynn branch of the Samaritans, and the Swaffham and District Mental Health Association, alongside Rotary's international campaigns such as ShelterBox and End Polio Now.

The open call is run by the club: submission forms are due in late September. Artists who would like to take part can find the invitation to exhibit and the submission forms on the festival's website.
