The Suffolk Art Society Art Exhibition
17 Jul 2026 – 2 Aug 2026
The Suffolk Art Society stages its annual summer exhibition in the Lady Chapel of Holy Trinity Church, Long Melford — one of Suffolk's great medieval wool churches. The Society was founded around seven decades ago, beginning as a small art club in Lavenham, and today has roughly 80 members drawn from Suffolk and the neighbouring counties of Norfolk, Essex and Cambridgeshire. Held over two weeks, the exhibition showcases the work of leading regional artists, with hundreds of pieces on display and for sale ranging from abstract to traditional in styles and media including oils, acrylics, pastels, watercolour, textile and pencil, both framed and unframed. A share of the proceeds from sales supports St Nicholas Hospice Care.
