Verity Monroe

5 Feb 2027 - 7 Feb 2027

Verity Monroe's sonic and sculptural response to the musical heritage of the River Alde, bringing together experimental sound, archival research and large-scale ceramic forms.

The exhibition explores the sonic narratives embedded in the landscape of 21st-century East Anglia. Drawing on field recordings, visual notes and reconstructed architectures of the musical legacy along the River Alde, the work investigates the effects of an increasingly globalised soundscape and the relationships between music, place and cultural history.
