Rebecca Tucker: Among the Trees

29 Oct 2026 - 4 Nov 2026

Among the Trees is Rebecca Tucker's first solo exhibition, bringing together a collection of recent paintings inspired by time spent observing and responding to the natural world. Working from landscape references, Rebecca explores the spaces between representation and abstraction, translating the quiet rhythms, light and movement of trees and their surroundings into expressive layers of colour and mark-making. The resulting paintings are contemplative and immersive, inviting the viewer to pause, look closely and experience a sense of calm and connection with nature.

Rebecca Tucker is a Lancashire-born painter with a BA in Fine Art from Reading University (1996), and an alumna of the Turps Banana Art School Off-Site Programme (2022-23). She was longlisted for the Jackson's Art Prize in 2025 and 2026, and has been selected for the Britten Pears Summer Contemporary at Snape Maltings, the ING Discerning Eye at the Mall Galleries, the Royal Watercolour Society Open, the Royal West of England Academy Open, the Society of Women Artists Open and the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2022.

The artist will be at the gallery every day of the show.
