Kate Charles: Caught by The Dawn

Suffolk-based painter and sculptor Kate Charles brings new work to the Pond Gallery in a show shaped by light, memory and the emotional resonance of change. Working in paint alongside gold and metal leaf, she builds surfaces from layered textures that catch and hold the light, drawing on ideas of belonging, transformation and impermanence. The result is a body of work poised on the threshold between holding on and letting go, echoed in the exhibition's dawn-lit title.
