Herring - Anastasia Eggers

By tracking herring, whose migration routes remain free of any notion of national frontiers or allegiances, the project aims to trouble the concept of maritime borders. Studying how marine life is impacted by geopolitical divisions, Herring views borders from three perspectives: the small-scale fishing communities, the fishing industry, and the schools of herring themselves.
