Constable to Contemporary

The closing exhibition of Christchurch Mansion's year-long Constable 250 celebration highlights the enduring artistic and cultural relevance of John Constable's work through a range of contemporary and community responses. It brings together work created across the anniversary year through engagement projects with Constable 250 community partners and participating schools. Highlights include a new body of mixed-media works by Suffolk Artlink's Brave Art groups, made by adults with learning disabilities, and a youth-led immersive artwork by Community Hub Ipswich (CHIp) evoking the essence of 'Constable Country' through the senses.
