In this exhibition at The Maker’s Gallery in Holt, Chrissie is mainly celebrating Fishermen and other people that spend their time by the water.

This collection of figurative paintings capture quiet moments of everyday life - people pausing, thinking, or simply being. Each piece is inspired by familiar rituals and scenes reimagined through carefully chosen colours that invites calm, reflection and joyful memories.

Chrissie lives in Brightlingsea on the Essex coast in a house overlooking the sea, inspiration is readily available. Chrissie is Artist in Residence at Brightlingsea Lido. She spends most of her weekends in Darsham, Suffolk and enjoys the Suffolk beaches and countryside. Chrissie regularly visited Cromer and Sheringham as a child and is very happy to be back in Norfolk.

When Chrissie is not painting she spends her time running art workshops for adults and other creative events, she can also be found on the stage or directing.
