65 Years of the Munnings Art Museum

A special exhibition marking the museum's 65-year history and its founder, Violet Munnings, who drove both the establishment of the museum in 1961 and the career of her husband, Sir Alfred Munnings, from 1920 until his death in 1959. Drawing on items from the archive plus objects and paintings from the original collection and later acquisitions, it presents a short overview of how the Dedham museum came to be and how its collection has grown.
