Artist Statement
I'm an artist with a passion for painting outdoors in the landscape. I am based in Cambridge, UK, where I am particularly drawn to painting views of the river and green spaces of the city, through the changing seasons and at different times of the year. I also paint further afield in the Cambridgeshire Fens and East Anglian coastline.
I paint primarily in oils and usually complete a painting in one session, aiming to capture the fleeting light effect or atmosphere of the place that day.
The Norfolk landscape and coastline are a great inspiration to me, and I try to get back there to paint whenever possible!
