Noah Carter

Noah Carter is an artist and filmmaker based in Wivenhoe, Essex. He was born in Essex and studied architecture at the University of Kent.

His paintings begin with observational drawings of his own collection of houseplants, which he translates into watercolour, working to describe the particular character of each plant through the handling of the paint. He won the RWS Young Artist Award and is a Guest member of the Royal Watercolour Society.

He also runs a film production company making short documentary films about the visual arts.
