Jane Morter
Jane Morter is a contemporary artist who studied at Central Saint Martins, London, and lives and works in Suffolk. She makes sculpture and mixed-media assemblage, largely from recycled and found materials — cardboard, wood, plywood, mud, pigment and glue — producing both freestanding and wall-hung pieces, including her recurring 'Cabin' works. She is represented by 155A Gallery in London. Her exhibitions include 'Contemporary Landscape' (155A Gallery, London, 2021), 'Maquette' (No Show Space, London, 2022–23), 'RUBBLE' at the church of St John the Baptist, Suffolk (2025), 'ZAUM' at 50mv gallery, Liverpool (2025), 'Modern Problems' at Darsham Station, Suffolk (2026), and 'Hām (Home. House. Village.)' in Pakefield, Suffolk (2026). She has also shown and contributed work to silent auctions at The Art Station, Saxmundham, Suffolk.
