Cambridge Contemporary Art
Cambridge Contemporary Art has been on Trinity Street, a short walk from King's College, since 1996. It represents over 100 artists and runs a programme of solo and group exhibitions that changes monthly.
Original paintings hang alongside wood, ceramics, sculpture, metalwork and limited-edition handmade prints, by emerging and established artists. All the work is made by hand in the UK. The current owner, Nathalie Staples, has worked at the gallery since 2000, and in 2009 launched a sister gallery, Cambridge Contemporary Crafts, to show a wider range of handmade work. The gallery ships nationally and internationally and offers the Own Art interest-free loan scheme.
