ART:OASIS
Through Simon Carter's uncompromising curation of shows that feature local, national and international artists, since 2016, this unlikely municipal space has become a genuine art destination. The nature of the space -- dementia café and community meeting space -- pose some limitations: Artworks are domestic- rather than large-scale but small size does not mean small quality in this case!
ART:OASIS is the exhibition space at the Oasis Cafe inside Frinton Free Church, on Connaught Avenue in Frinton-on-Sea. It shows a changing programme of exhibitions curated by Simon Carter. The programme is run with The Art of Frinton and Frinton Mission. Exhibitions typically open with an evening view and run for several weeks, and opening hours vary between them.
