Private View: Stillness and Strength

Four Ways of Seeing presents Stillness and Strength an exciting new exhibition exploring shared themes and celebrating creative diversity through four distinct and dynamic artistic voices.

Four Ways members Sue Law, Judy Logan, Jill Ogilvy and Deanna Tyson have a wealth of experience between them. Their disciplines cover sculpture, paint, print and textiles which allows them to respond creatively to a theme from each of their individual perspectives. Small monotone sculptures by Sue Law nestle amongst Judy Logan’s striking goddesses and ominously still, ink black crows, whilst Jill Ogilvy’s calm domestic still life compositions and evocative landscapes contrast with the provocatively strong icons and omens presented by Deanna Tyson.
