Alexandra Oliver: Threshold

Threshold is a solo exhibition by Alexandra Oliver, a Suffolk-based landscape painter whose principal subject is woodland. Her oil paintings on canvas grow out of studies in charcoal, pastel and acrylic made in direct response to the changing light and atmosphere of the landscape, and revisit the British Romantic landscape tradition from a contemporary standpoint.
