Art Not on the Prom Trail

Following the cancellation of Felixstowe's Art on the Prom this year, Felixstowe Indoor Market is launching Art Not on the Prom, a new two-day art trail bringing the work of local artists into shops and businesses throughout Felixstowe town centre.

Organised by Helen Newman, the initiative has already attracted more than 40 participating shops and venues, which will display paintings, drawings, sculpture and other work by local artists. Visitors can pick up a map from Felixstowe Indoor Market and follow the trail around town.

Artists are still invited to take part. Each artist can contribute a small work, which can either be paired with one of the participating businesses or included in a central display at Felixstowe Indoor Market. There is no participation fee, although artists are encouraged to make a small donation to a local charity.

The aim is to showcase the area's artistic talent, support independent businesses and bring more visitors into Felixstowe town centre.
