Rebecca Stark

Rebecca Stark is an artist living in Cambridge. She completed a BA Hons in Wood, Metal, Ceramics and Plastics at the University of Brighton, and her love of creating art has been a constant since.

Her paintings are built from cut and torn paper, printed and painted surfaces, ink line and collage, and take in downland and estuary, harbour towns and lighthouses, college courts and city streets, and still lifes of jugs, pots and flowers set against patterned cloth.

Rebecca's clocks are made using several types of metals including Nickel silver, Copper, aluminium and Brass. Design and texture are created through the processes of heating, piercing, etching and engraving the metal. Each clock is fitted with quartz mechanisms.

She also teaches art classes locally.
