Artist Statement
Textures found within nature have always influenced my work and are now the inspiration behind my paintings. Seascapes and flowers are my favourite subjects. There is nothing more I like than being jostled around in crashing waves then trying to capture that feeling in a sketch or a painting. The floral oils are inspired by the gorgeous mix of cosmos, dahlias and hydrangeas that we grow on our allotment here in rural Cambridgeshire.
