Andrea Gould

Andrea Gould is based in Kirby Cross, near Frinton on Sea. She usually paints with acrylic paints, in bold colours. Andrea likes to convey a colourful vibe. Using acrylic paints, Andrea has a fondness for creating abstract work, using blocks of colour. She is also very fond of fashion designing, using pencil and paper. Fashion, nature and abstract are common themes in Andrea's work. She is very interested in pattern and colour, thinking of new patterns and designs and how they might look as a fashion garment. Andrea has exhibited her abstract collection, titled Linear Perspectives, at Colchester Hospital and at the library in Frinton on Sea. She did an art demo at the library too. In 2014, Andrea achieved a BTEC diploma in Art and Design; to achieve this qualification, she tried out graphic design techniques, pattern design, and illustration. Currently, Andrea is collaborating with a friend, designing and making sustainable outfits for an upcoming fashion show. It will be held in Ipswich, at the Museum of The Environment in August 2026.
